Back in the day, older amplifiers used to have a loudness control to compensate for the imperfect human (as I understand it) ear not hearing low and high frequencies as well at low volume. My new B100 seems not to need it.

Is there some kind of auto compensation at work in this (marvelous) little integrated amp?
