Anyone heard of Crest Amps?

I am looking to purchase an amplifier to power my VMPS New Larger Subwoofer. I have considered the Cinenova, Crown, and Stratos. I recently came across the Crest amp and am curious if anybody knows anything about them.

I have a Crest LT-1000 powering my sub in the HT room.  It's good, but not great, if tight, musical bass is what you want.  It does put out prodigous power, but is a bit "loose" sounding compared to some amps.  Also, the fan is intolerably noisy.  I had to put mine in a closet to deal w/it's noise.  If you're looking for a sub amp, I think you'd be best off w/a Crown K1 or K2, or one of the new QSC amps with the (very new) ultra quiet fans.

Crest and Crown amps have been top of the line for professional sound reinforcement for years - their bulletproof reliability and long life combined with top of the line components made them my only choice when I used to set up/run/design these systems.  The large fans are due to the typical application of running the amp near clipping for a 2-3 hour concert, however they run full speed most of the time and are very loud (they make a computer sound silent).  I haven't heard any of the brand new models, but when I used a Crest to power multiple 4x15" Community subs, the control was excellent (considering the concert sound levels and massive drivers) and we literally shattered mirrors in some of the smaller bars we set up in.

The system above contained (per side) 4 JBL 2x12" towers w/horn, 2 4x15" Community subs, 1 homebuilt 2x15" - all actively crossed over with about 15K of power per side, Crest amps on the subs, Crown on the mid/high towers .  Imagine that in your local bar with live rock/electronic music - the true meaning of sound reinforcement.

Like Tyson, I'm using a crest LT-1000 to power my sub. It's a good amp
that has power especially using it in bridged mode it's on par with crown & QSC amps at it's price range, but the fan noise get's to me and if I can find a used crown K-1 for a good price I'll jump on it.
