Hello I recently received my power amp back from Art Audios Tom Willis and he kindly lent me a stop-gap valve to tide me over until I can claw the funds together to replace the pair of power valves in my Diavolo.
I have had a pair of Emission Labs WB520b in since I got this amp and Tom has recommended the Western Electric 300B's. I was wondering considering the 93db sensitivity of my speakers should I stick with the more powerfull Emission Labs or try the Westerns? Are there any other good valves someone can recommend for me to consider.
I would not like to spend more than seven hundred pounds on the pair, actually I'd not like to spend the five hundred and fifty pounds the Emission Labs would cost but what can you do?
