The VR2 line of speakers are great however they are no longer being made.  I was curious into replacing the speaker woofer with a better quality component speaker such as Scanspeak (I think thats the name).  Since the woofer that comes with the VR2 are made in China I wanted something more solid, better performing.  If I do that will the sonics be degraded or  upgraded?  Any word of advise will be appreciated

Hello,

The VR 2 is a fantastic speaker.
The cabinet is built in China but the drivers are from Europe.
So no need to upgrade due to "Chinese quality".

I prefer American Quality sadly enough that's not an option anymore but thanks for the info!
