4.  You "remember" that:

Your college system

Your first system with separates

Your buddy's budget system

Your system you just upgraded from.................

All did something better than your current "end-all" system.

You know that's true...and you might add...you will focus many future "changes" on trying to "get back there" and will find that the saying "you can never go back is more true than you'd like to believe.

Enter the smart meter where the price of electricity is directly related to the time of day :duh:

A moderately priced component whose performance exceeds expectations is more fun than a high-priced component that meets expectations.

Early in life, it will be your mom who tell's you to turn it down.
Later on it will be your spouse, and a little while after that it will be your kids who tell you to turn it down......sigh!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

I will say one preserve your SACD/DVD-Audios: Never pick up a disc with your hands, use gloves or a clean, lint-free cloth.

Another one I like: always use 220Volts audio/video equips. (In Europe is 230Volts) (Australia 240Volts)
It is a pity some countries use 100Volts as Japan and 120Volts as US.
