I'd sure like to know how long the load time is for a Blu Ray disc.  My Panasonic takes forever.  I know the Oppo 83 has real fast load time and would be curious about this one.

I would hope it is good.  I have the 83 (hopefully on its way back from being modded) in the main system, a Samsung  2500 in the bedroom system and a PS3 in the basement system.  I'd guess the Samsung is slowest but it is not terrible and not by tons.  I have a (regular old) Oppo 980 in the bedroom system to play audio formats.  I don't use the bedroom system tons (although I may be upgrading the 42 inch 1080p LCD soon), otherwise I'd think about getting it.  If I needed room for another component, I'd probably want an all in one machine but I can't think of anything I need in the immediate future (but I'd be happy to take suggestions )

I might have to try one of these Oppo players. $289 is steal for a universal "transport". Especially if you already have a video processor that equals or exceeds the processor in the 83.
