I recall a thread on another topic, where the 'new' tube manufacturer Synergy HiFi was mentioned (from a link from 6moons), and that someone had ordered some tubes (300B's as I recall).

I'd love to hear an assessment of their sound if and when someone has a chance to listen to them!

Thanks Jake.  I spotted their site; I could have sworn I read a thread where one of our fellow AC'ers had ordered some of the 300B tubes, but I wasn't able to located it again.

Didn't see any mention to 300Bs.

I'd bet a sizeable amount that these are just OEM'd from one of the two main Chinese tube factories (one in Tianjian, other is Shuguang).

Looking at the SG China on the EL34 - I guessed that they were probably from Shuguang. Of course, people seem to really like the Shuguang Treasure series, so they are definately capable of making exotic high end variations on their tubes.

Ok did some research. The tube innards are made by Synergy and sent to Shuguang for the glass work. It is NOt a Shuguang tube.

Just looking at the available pics, the 300B's appear to be mesh; can't wait to hear a first hand assessment of their sound.  I've sent an email to Synergy, but no response yet.
