I am looking to replace the KT88's in my Audiopax 88 amps and really have no desire to spend  $1000's of dollars on EAT or NOS Gold Lions. Owning a Modwright Transporter I see the Black Treaure 6sn7 is getting serious attention and wondering if anyone has heard the KT88's and can offer an opinion.

Yes, they are the best modern KT88's I've heard.  Handily beat the Gold Lion reissues and the Penta Labs that I've compared them to directly.

I have not heard the KT88's but I have the 6CA7's and they are very, very good to my ears I'm told that the KT88's are in the same outstanding class.
