Hello James. This might be a Mike Picket question:
I want to make sure that my BP 1.5 is set correctly for my MC cartridge. I am the second owner so I don't know if it has the factory settings. I have the MM jumpers inside set to the 41 db setting. So does this mean that IF the MC gain is at the factory setting of 22.5 then it is set at 63.5? When it was set at 35 db it wasn't enought gain. I guess the big question is how do I know if the MC mode is set for 16.5 or the factory setting of 22.5? Unless I am missing it, the manual doesnt seem to tell you HOW to set this, it just says that it is adjustable (and tells you how to set the MM gain).
Finally I would have to assume that the capacitance loading on the rear will not have an effect for a MC cartridge. Is this correct?
