FS: Pioneer Elite PD-91 CD Player/Transport. SOLD
« on: 16 Jan 2010, 07:54 pm »
This player is a 43lbs. beast. It was Pioneer's best player for some time. It has a qualiy feel and operates so smoothly. It has one of the best headphone outputs of any CD player. My $300 headphone amp is not as good as the PD-91 alone. It makes a very, very good transport. Has a front switch that turns off all analog circuitry and only outputs digital. Only CD player I have ever seen that mounts the power supply transformer outside of the chassis. This is a very good idea - no 60hz interference in the digital or analog circuits. This player is incredible with battery powered D/A converters. Asking $250. Thank you. SOLD

Local is Riverside, Cali. No, doesn't decode HDCD. No box or remote. Sounds pretty good if you use 'phones.
