Apple Tv and Hi Res

does the Apple TV support 24/96 ?  I sync to an apple tv, curious about playback of hi res downloads, either as a stream or synched thru atv.

nope, it does not. But... not everyone can hear the difference between the redbook and hi-rez  :D

And to add to that, it'll sync with 24/96 material but will downconvert to 16/48 for playback.
