Can someone share some comments in the sonic differences from the Omega's with the Fostex drivers and the new Hemp drivers please.

The difference that I perceive is that the new drivers convey much more harmonic information.  This results in a fuller more complete sound.

Yeah, I had TS2R, currently have TS3R and Super 8 Alnico XRS.

The Foxtex has two minor flaws in comparision.

The Foxtex can have a papery coloration at times. The new XRS does not have that reedy/papery sound.

The XRS also does not recess some of the vocals as the old Foxtex did. Perhaps a tweaking of the whizzer cone design.

There are not any sonic anomalies that I can detect on the XRS.

Overall, I still favor the Fostex with its more natural colorations versus a metal driver speaker any day.
