Tempest/Etesian Remote
« on: 19 Jan 2004, 03:38 pm »
Hello All

New Odyssey Khartago owner here. I am considering an Odyssey Pre now to match the amp, and I know the remote exists but I have never seen one. Anyone have any pics or can describe(just volume or can it control source selection)?

Thanks in advance
JCP

Hi,

The remote is basic with 2 buttons, for up and down the volume.

But what materials is it made out of?  My Adcom GFP-750's remote is a piece of plastic junk unbecoming of a preamp that costs over $1000, while my (just sold) Rogue Audio 66's remote was a solid chunk of aluminum.

It's just a plastic piece of junk.  I think it's made by Alps.  Klaus even told me it was a crappy remote.  Inside the Tempest is where all the quality remote parts are.
