I've had an 8 LP set of Beethoven's symphonies passed down to me (I'm usually more of a baorque/chamber guy). It's a Deutsche Gramophone release and all of the liner notes etc are in German. It was the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Karl Bohm. I'm just trying to find any reviews of this set online or any other info as to when it was recorded etc.

Its a very enjoyable set, I'd just like to know a little more about what I'm listening too. Thanks
