I know Blackmore won't 'toot his own horn' (pun intended) but I thought I'd let you guys know about what is a great Christmas concert.
The Compton Heights Band (which Mark and Lisa both play in) are doing their 12th annual Holiday Spectacular down at Powell Hall. Joining them on stage is Hugh Smith (world class tenor) and Geoffry Gallante (a 9 year old trumpet phenom). Talking to Mark, it sounds like him, Lisa and Geoffry will be doing a trumpet solo (trio) during the event.
The show times are 2:00 and 8:00 next Wednesday. December 23rd. Tickets are available from the Powell ticket office. Hopefully we won't have a major snowstorm to deal with like the weathermen are talking about.
