Cisco WRT610N

I am pretty ignorant on these things so I wonder - Can this be used instead of a NAS of some sort?

The Cisco website says:

"Built-in Media Server, streams music, video, and photos to any UPnP compatible media adapter"

if not - what does it allow you to do or how would it be best implemented?

Thanks,

James

No, the Squeezebox can't play directly from a UPnP server.  You must be running Squeezebox Server somewhere on your network to play audio files.

What's a WRT610T? I know of the WRT610N but not the "T".
