I only read through a handful or two of the reviews, but enough to get the gist.  I don't think I have ever seen such an assortment of sarcastic spoof reviews for a product on Amazon.
 
I also have a hard time believing that 341 people actually bought this item from Amazon.

Amazingly, these reviews were from shills on the Denon board of directors.  The only genuine (and verified as true) was the one whose left arm grew back.  The cable is now being marketed to promote the growth of "that certain part of the male anatomy."  You'll all be getting emails about this soon.

Well you do have to pay more for longer lengths.
 
The 20 meter (66 ft.) Kimber Kable HDMI 29 is $1897.00 from Audio Advisor!  But the same HDMI 29 series cable in a 1.5 meter length (same length as the Denon) is only $312.00 - much cheaper than the Denon!
 
I have 2 Monoprice flat HDMI cables, a 3ft. for $5.00 and a 30ft. for $26.00 and both work very well.

 I've done business with monoprice. Great service and very good products. Hell of a lot cheaper than the few stores around here that carry cables and connectors and other gear.
