I am going to insert a newer Macbook Pro in place of the G4 I have been using as my laptop music server. The Macbook Pro has no music in its iTunes library currently. All of my music is stored on one external hard drive. When I connect this hard drive to the Macbook Pro do I just need to change the library via iTunes preferences to the hard drive or do some kind of special import?

Thank you for your help, and sorry if this has already been discussed.

Connect the old hard drive, start iTunes and change default library path. Then click File > Add to library and point to the root of the external. Click OK.
