I've been wishing for a more cosmetically pleasing version of the power pacs for quite some time for the simple reason of getting the amp as close as possible to each speaker in my 5.1 system, thus minimizing the loudspeaker cable length.  The power pacs would do the trick, but they aren't very attractive.

Hi CDinsmore,

Yes the Power Pacs have been very successful but the original intent for them was as a packaged amp to attach to the rear of a PMC speaker. They kind of took on a life of their own as others started using them as mono versions of our 2B,3B and 4B amps.  Maybe a 150 watt nice looking monoblock would do well. I will rattle the appropriate chains.

Did this ever gain any traction?  Would be a nice thing to have.

I'd buy a pair of compressed chassi 3b or 4b monoblocks,I'd use them in a smaller system or biamp.
Eye appeal also.

there are the PowerPacs available (not SSTsq yet...). i think it would be cool to see them in a "real" chassis as an eye candy... sex sells, eh! :green:
however- monoblocks and/or 3 channel versions in addition to all the 2 channel amps would give better choice for any specific setup.

Hi Robert,it probably would, but for eye appeal,it would be worth it to me,
they'd look so darn cute, that even the wife would accept them,a winner I believe :thumb:.
A few hundred watts would be fine for a smaller system.
I see the same chassis but about half the size of what we have now,if I can see it in my minds eye
then perhaps it will become reality, custom order perhaps, that would be pricey.
