This does not look much like an AVA product!
It is old, and has the original Dyna audio board, not an AVA board.
The two electrolytics tacked terminals up on the chassis certainly are not AVA ideas!
It is possible that it has the input filters we recommended back in 1982, but I certainly would clarify this with the seller before making an offer.
The asking price, $350, plus the cost of the factory installed Ultimate 70 rebuild, $899, plus shipping from the seller to you, and then back and forth to us if you wanted our services for this amplifier would total about $1400 and you would still have eons old transformers and mechanical parts.
Compare this to the price of a brand new Ultravalve amplifier, $1699. Note that the last remaining part necessary before we can ship are the new custom faceplates. They have now been fabricated and are at the metal finisher. We should be ready to ship before Christmas.
