BDA1 Dropouts using optical in

BDA1 Dropouts using optical in

From a Mac Mini I am experiencing frequent dropouts using itunes into the BDA1 via optical. USB input is fine.

Someone indicated the BDA1is asynchronous, therefore the buffer settings could be the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Gordon

I am using a Mac Pro Laptop and optical at 44.1 on itunes and 96 on Songbird with no issues.
The BDA-1 is "SYNCHRONOUS" upsampling.
