I have a Avidea 770 speaker setup. Part of a Boston Acustics package that was sold through a clearance magazine. I don't use all the speakers just the sub. It has no controls to speak of. Rev phase switch, vol, etc. All of the sub's controls were contained in the control unit. (it was a HTIB set) Anyways, to make a long story short I took out the BA subwoofer and placed it in another sub box. That subs amp had all the normal controls built in it.
Now I'm planning to buy a new subwoofer speaker to put in the BA box. The problem I'm having is that there is no info for this BA sub and customer service at BA have yet to return my calls or emails. I know that it's 200 watts, that's it. The subwoofer I want to purchase is the Dayton 10" Titanic MK III. 400 watts at 4ohms
Do I have to add a resistor or something inline to make it 8ohms if that should be my case?
