Wire Question

Wire Question

What is the largest gauge wire that anyone has successfully used, unterminated, on omegas? i have the binding posts on the SuperHemps (Super 8 Alnicos now). will unterminated 10 awg fit?

    It helps to remember that the Omega Drivers sound better with a double run of wire from the positive terminal.

    I am probably the least technical person here on AC, but it was explained to me by a technician it has to with controlling the back emf wave.

Hi nychorner,

I have used 14 AWG and had good results.

The double run, non twisted gives a balance that I like. I tried a lot of different cable, sizes, twist and not twist and this sounds the best to me.
