SAS Audio Labs is happy to unveil the two stage 25 Watt push pull, all triode, pure class A monoblock amplifiers, built in the USA. It uses the very conservatively rated EL-156 output tube.

Unique features include individual power supplies for each stage, a two position tonal balance switch for touch up, 4 - 8 ohm speaker tap switch, and a unique 60 hz hum cancelling circuit (not a typical filament balancing design) that one can virtually eliminate 60hz hum. The monoblocks sound simply stunning with the Von Schweikert VR-3, VF-33, GR Research, Selah Phast Jr speakers etc.

                                       Specifications:

Frequency Response:                                  7.5-80khz (8 ohm) -3db.
Power Output per Channel:                          25 watts RMS (switchable 4, 8 ohm, triode Pure Class A)
Sensitivity:                                                 2.5 vrms approximately
Input Impedance:                                       100k ohms
Global Feedback:                                            0
Total Weight ea.:                                          27 lbs. (Shipping Wt. 30 lbs)
No. of Stages per Channel:                            2
Driver Tube:                                                JJ E88cc triode (approx 1/8 the distortion of NOS or 6SN7 types)
Output Tubes:                                             EL-156
Driver Stage Distortion:                             0.03% THD (at 25 watts output)
Total Harmonic Distortion Amp:                     typical 0.7% at 25 watts
Power Requirements:                                 120vac 60hz

I believe in complete separate power supplies to minimize frequency dependent musical feedback through the power supply. (Musical feedback occurs in nearly every single amplifier despite decoupling capacitors. See http://www.sasaudiolabs.com/theory8a.htm .) This results in a more natural sound and realistic 3D soundstage. Transparency is simply incredible.
