Any comments on the quality of this recording?

I am skeptical of remasters because I have heard so many bad ones. I just played part of a remaster of Zevon's "Excitable Boy" and it was so bad I took it off. I don't need any more coasters.

I've got that one and it's okay, nothing special.I don't really care for the added tracks though. My best copy on cd is the MFSL gold.I put off buying this because of the price but I took a chance and I'm glad I did.I don't have a lot of these, just some of my very favorite releases.Get it new, direct from MFSL or one of their authorized dealers.

I am pretty happy with it. The recording doesn't appear to have added compression and has a very good soundstage and frequency response.

I'm more with "decal", it's okay. People hear different, have different gear. For instance, I REALLY like the new Beatle remasters, but there are some who don't. I agree, remastering lately is not necessarily a good thing.
