Cornet Idea/Suggestion

Please excuse me if this is a daft idea!

It seems that quite a few people, including myself, are keen on trying different types of boutique components (caps & resistors) in their Cornet.
My idea was, if possible, to have multi pitch holes for these components on the boards to enable easier fitting of said components, seeing as many of the boutique parts have different lead pitch to the standard items in the parts list.

Im no electronics person and have never designed a PCB, so if this is a completely daft idea feel free to tell me :)

This is certainly not a daft idea.  For new products I am trying to make things easier by using generous room for parts and larger holes.  Multiple holes is fine but may lead to some confusion.  Trying hard to make next machines even easier to build.

jh :)

could the confusion be lessened by haveing the shape of the component silk screened and the holes within that?
I realise that it may well still cause confusion tho.
