Ear Tweek

Perhaps we all are aware of this suttle tweak.Over the years of playing, listening to music that there are quite a lot of times no matter what the upgrade that music will sound lifeless, slightly muffled ect.
Maybe we figure that it's are mental attitude that's causing how we hear the music as some days she's superb and other days she's whatever.
I know somedays,I'll notice that the sound isn't quite there and I'll do a little
pressure release on my ears.
Flying on a jet and descending in altitude is when I really notice my ears losing peak performance. That's the extreme version.
I guess what I'm saying is that just by closing your nose with your hand and
with a slight blowing pressure, you will actually improve your system quite dramatically, course perhaps everybody is aware of this.
i thought I'd throw this out there in case someone is not AWARE of this simple
technique that will do the music justice and then some.

This is called "The Valsalva Maneuver," and it will only work if you have negative pressure in your middle ear(s).  Otherwise, it is useless.  It works by forcing the Eustachian tube open to equalize the pressure on the tympanic membrane (eardrum).

If you must do this when you have not changed altitude please see your Dr and and Audiologist right away. This may indicate a greater problem and only they can help diagnose.

Sorry boys,I already seen the movie dumb+dumber .
I can't decide if that's just weird or insulting.  Or maybe it's me.  Whatever.  Anyway, the opposite of the Valsalva is called the Toynbee.  Avoid doing that as you might not be able to un-do the negative pressure this might induce.
