Bela Fleck and the Flecktones:  Live at the Quick
Alison Krauss + Union Station:  Live
Sting:  All This Time
Crossroads Music Fextival 2007 - great because you get exposure to a ton of different live bands.

Old school but one of my favorites is Festival Express.  Not only concert footage but a cool historical document.

Also, David Gray at the Point
Who, Live at Isle of Wight

Jim,
This is my next DVD purchase.  This live CD absolutely kicks ass.
Saw him live only once way back when Blow by Blow came out. His band and guitar playing skills are outstanding.

The Led Zeppelin DVD from 2003 (titled "Led Zeppelin").

An incredible concert.

I also highly recommend the 3 CD live CDs released around the same time "How the West Was Won" Those live recordings made Zeppelin live and breathe for me again, an incredible set.

It'll be a good one, Max.  It includes a couple numbers that aren't on the CD like Imogen Heep singing Blanket, for example, and a number with Josh Stone.  I totally agree with you bout the CD.  Love it.

I'll second both of these.  If you want one definitive U2 DVD then Slane Castle is probably it.

I would own a lot more concert DVDs than I do if it weren't for the way these things are typically shot.  Directors can't seem to stay on one shot for more than 3 or 4 seconds.  The constant camera movement, zooming, angle changes, and what have you is very amateurish and really detracts from the experience.
