Coming back to VSA - full circle :)
« on: 29 Nov 2009, 03:24 pm »
Hello

I am a Danish music lover and audiophile who have, long last, bought my second pair of the VR2s.
Now I think they are never leaving my living room again :)

I went from the VR2s to the VR4jrs but unfortuately never got the latter to sing. I was more than happy with the VR2s, but more wants more...
I tried almost everything with the VR4jrs; from changing cables, amps - even listening room :) - but never got them to sing properly.

Then I owned a pair of Avalons and a pair of Vienna Acoustics speakers. No other speaker I have owned performs the way the VR2s do - they just work magic with my Audia CD and Pass INT-150 along with Van den Hul the Second and Revelation cables :)

Just wanted to share my "love story of sorts" :)

We could all tell similar "love" stories.  Too bad more folks don't "get it" when it comes to Albert and his speakers.  Their loss. :dunno:

Could you describe in what way you could not get the VR4jr's to sing compared to the VR2's? How big is your listening space and do you think room size was part of the problem?

The 6moons review of the Pass INT-150 sounds like it would be a great match for the VR2's. I've been using a pair of VR2's with Van Alstine electronics for a little over 2 years and they never fail to make great music.
