FOUND ONE! WTB: Inexpensive CD changer
« on: 23 Nov 2009, 10:48 pm »
Anyone have an inexpensive cd changer?  i managed to drop my Nak on the concrete garage floor and of course the floor won :(  I would like a Nak as i still have the remote for it but I guess another brand with a remote would also work.  need one that will read cdr's and would prefer a carousel as i hear there are too many problems with the cartridge type.  shipping to 98327 or even better local to the seattle/olympia area!

my fault, should have been more specific :)  a 3-7 cd carousel or a magazine one..thanks for the heads-up though!

Starkiller,
Wasn't there a Denon Carousel that played HDCD that got excellent reviews?
Or I would look for a Sony that did have the SACD chip. Something a little up the river, in like the Pioneer Elite series, but I've forgotten what Sony calls their step up from the lower level.
I'm betting that would have a good sound for redbook as well.

Sony SCD-CE595 fits the bill.  You can pick up a refurb for under $100.  Sounds great.
