This amp has been modified.  The mods alone are worth over $200, in addition to what an M-80 of excellent condition normally sells for.

The original binding posts and relay board were taken out.  These were replaced with high quality Dayton gold binding posts, capable of receiving either bare wire or a banana plug.  The binding posts are mounted on 1" thick red oak.

All soldering was done using high quality WBT lead-free silver solder.  Removing the original relay board simplified the signal path, making it more direct with a cleaner sound (the original relays were known to add a small amount of noise to the signal).

Also, the original power cord was removed.  Replacing it is an Iron Lung Jellyfish power cable.  This is a much higher quality, much more robust PC than the original.  It is directly soldered to the original power leads.  All soldered connections were covered with a healthy length of heat-shrink and tightly sealed, preventing any unwanted connections / shorts.  The entry hole for the power cord fits snug and precise, with it's edges finely sanded down to prevent any long-term damage to the cord.

The top circuit boards and caps have been thoroughly cleaned.

Cosmetically, this is in great condition.  There are only a few small nicks in the paint (hardly noticable)... I have pictured a couple of the biggest ones.

All lights, buttons, and knobs function perfectly.  The volume knobs turn smoothly without any scratches or pops in the signal from dust.

I will include the original binding posts and relay boards with the sale.  I should note that the 2 second turn-on delay was removed with the relay board, so there is a slight 'thud' when turning the amp on now.

$550 OBO plus shipping.  I'm looking to sell soon, so make a reasonable offer and I will consider it.
