Well they do kind of look like targets with bulls eyes.  I vote for the 3/4 grilles with those beautiful exposed horns, unless you think that a marshmallow might get stuck in the throat.
 
They look real and they're spectacular!

Beautiful!

I've pulled dents from dust caps with a vacuum cleaner and narrow nozzle.  I braced the driver with one hand then approached the cap slowly with the nozzle...

If you're worried there might be too much pull with the vacuum, mask off a portion of the inlet with tape; it will increase the velocity a little, but will reduce the pull.

Again, they look terrific!

i second using tape (or wacuum) to pull out the dust cap.  and yes - the grill over the top horn must go!   :thumb:

Absolutely beautiful speakers.If they sound  half as good as they look,man,oh man.I say 3/4 grills,the horns really are nice looking.Congrats on a fantastic project.
