brussel's meeting
« on: 17 Nov 2009, 01:07 am »
Dear All,

Last weekend we were at Brussel's New Music Hifi-Show

Nice audience! Brussels is "the Capitol of Europe" with a lot of international inhabitants, nearly 3000 interested musiclovers entered.

A lot of couples, wife and husband, boys and girlfriends.

We selected a very subtle system with the Unifield III:

VSA Unifield III

KR Kronzilla SD amp.

KR P150 pre

EERA Tentation

HT Photon Link source to pre.

HT Photon Amp pre to amp.

HT Magic powercord

Master Built biwire

Solid Tech Furniture

The room was only 25m2, but the system was sounding fabulous.

"How can a simple hotel bedroom easily "dream you away" into a real concert hall".

The second system was a setup where Music meets Art:

VSA Unifield II

KR VA 880 int amp

EERA Integral

HT Magic Link II

Master Built biwire

HT Fantasy powercord

Solid Tech Furniture

"Tweekunst Painting & Music Composition".

The Audience was surprised to meet this combination.

This system was really stunning when I played Mussorgsky?s  Pictures at an Exhibition (Reference Recording).

In this small sized room, when playing this piece of music, everybody was amazed by the controlled and the big sound like a real concert hall.

There where a lot of serious reactions to our performance to be the best of this weekend.

I did not have the time to visit all the rooms, but I believe what the audience have told me.

Great pix Cor.  I notice that you have the uni 3s very close to the front wall.  How was the imaging and soundstage depth?  Nice setup and I'm sure enjoyed by all.

Hi Gavin,

The room situation forced me to put the Uni's to the wooden wall.
Never the less, the soundstage was huge as ever and the room was completely filed with music. When you closed your eyes you would believe you were somewere else.

Amazing system.

Hi Gavin,

No, my daughter is even more beautifull. :)

A good friend of mine is the composer of the music he made specially for the painting made by his twin-sister. We played his music by our system with the Unifield two. Very nice to discover that music supporting this painting makes the brain flooting away in thoughts easily.

You can hear the music by clicking on the picture on their site called Twin-Art:

Have fun.
