DEQX love
« on: 15 Nov 2009, 04:16 am »
so.. this finally came in.. though the mic will be on it's way this week, I am happy to finally have it for the house and use it to develop my pieces.. Hopefully I can get some mods done before RMAF next year as I'll be using it in my setup for the show...

I will be using it to develop these first   aa

Nice.  I have a DEQX which I recently had upgraded to the HDP3 level, but somehow I still barely used it so far.  I am stilling trying to finish my speakers and then put it to use.

Wow, what sexy looking speakers!  :o  Hope they sound as good as they'll look (when finished).  :D

Thanks andy.. they will look like nothing ever made and sounds better then they look.. plus time and phase coherency out the wazzu and a active setup which IMO is the best solution for the excel drivers

What amp modules are you considering for these speakers ... or are you leaving this up to the buyer?  :)

BTW, I run my Maggies 3-way active using Hugh Dean's AKSA Lifeforce modules (100w/55w/25w (into 8ohms) plus active XO and PSes in a custom-designed box ... which sits directly behind each panel).
