Just wondering if anybody here has built any kind of music computer using one of the Zalman Tnn series silent cases, and what Mobo and such did you find to work best, etc.?  Also open to other suggestions for other makes of silent (i.e. heat pipe and convection cooled) cases.

My requirements are that the system be able to run Win 7, have an expansion slot for possible future addition of a pro spdif card.  Video is not at alll important as onboard will work just fine, and no need for wireless either.

Thanks,

Jim

I have not used the TNN but here is an article about using it for audio server:

Its dated 11/29/2008 so adjust the recommendations accordingly based on PC HW & SW half lifes.

Hi Norman,

Thanks for the link.  Looks like the TNNs are no longer available, so time to look into another solution.

Thanks,

Jim
