WTB: TG Audio HSR Jumpers
« on: 11 Nov 2009, 06:47 pm »
Hi all.
I am looking to purchase a set of TG Audio HSR speaker cable jumpers. Would like them to be in 8/10 condition or better. Thanks!

Try Tim at www.luminousaudio.com.  I am using a set of Tim's jumpers, which are essentially the same Synchestra cordage Bob Crump used for the HSR cables - the perfect match for my HSR cables.

Hi el-cee.
I hadn't necessarily thought of that. Good call. I wasn't certain if there were those who use strictly TG jumpers with the HSR speaker cables or not; I wanted to keep as much synergy as possible, and thought there might be those out there switching TGs with some 'upgrade' and had them lying around or intending to sell at some point. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

I contacted Tim at Luminous. Very helpful; just a great guy. I should have an 8" set of the Synchestras soon. Very affordable jumpers. Thanks again el-cee for the recommendation. I look forward to hearing the combo.

Yes, Tim is very accomodating. He may not be an icon in the cable biz, eg. Ray Kimber or George Cardas, but over the years I've found his products to be consistently high performers and good value. As a small company in these perilous times for high end audio, I hope Luminous Audio stays around for a long time. Hope the jumpers meet your expectations - I know they did mine.

Not truer words have been spoken. I've been in this hobby for longer than I care to remember, and I've gone through numerous products and cables like all of us, and I think I've ended-up with...from a realistic diminishing returns understnading of the business aspect, as well as sonic, I suppose...what I believe to be as good as it's going to get. The funny thing about it, what got me there were products from "boutique", lesser-known businessmen and designers (a-la Bob Crump), whose products carry an astounding performance-to-cost ratio.
Again, thanks so much. I'm glad I'm adding yet another lesser-known (i.e. Tim) to the fold. Cheers, sir (and all of you)!
