I purchased these speakers direct from SP Tech and received them on June 23, 2007. I believe they are one of the last pairs of Timepiece 2.1's Bob Smith produced. They have the upgraded woofer and all of the Timepiece 3.0 upgrades except for the wooden face. There is not a scratch on these speakers and they do not have heavy use because of my work travel schedule. The last time I saw a list price on a new pair of Timepiece 3.0's was $5495.00. I am asking $1750.00 for the pair plus shipping and Paypal fees if that form of payment is used. I will also sell the pair of Core Technology Stands (one pictured) for $200.00 with the purchase of the speakers. I have the boxes/coffins that Bob made and used to ship the speakers from his shop.
The reason I am selling is to experiment with smaller, more efficient speakers that will allow me to eventually transition into reasonably sized tube amps. The Timepieces are 85db efficient into 8 ohms.
