This is what i have had in mind, however it seems like this project may upscale soon, and now budget is even more of a priority. I understand resale must be kept in mind because there will be no use for these items once the needle drop is complete. A few questions on where the purchase will matter the most.
Audio Technica at 120 (technics clone) vs. Technics 1200
good cartridge vs. better cartridge
art audio usb phono pre vs. hagerman or project.
