This could be a handy second system pre for cd only situation, depending on how high it goes. :roll:

I'm sorry--but I couldn't help but laugh.  Let's spend tons of money on magic feet to "make it sound better"... then put the system in an acoustically untreated basement for pure sonic bliss.

Kind of like putting top-of-the-line Pirelli's on your K-car.

Ok gjs_cds lighten up.  Those look like Mapelshade brass footers.  I applied a cheapo version of the same thing.  The thinking being that tubes can use some vibration damping.......pretty standard stuff.

Not to be a smart ass, but why do I see some people put there tube amps right between there speakers? Would not there be a lot of vibration up there right next to the speakers?
