First they have completely new frames and stands.This brings them up about 6" as well as the soundstage.Swaying/movement of the panel is prevented by the integrated spiked stands with back supports and sand filled columns for extreem coupling to the floor.This goes a long way towards the more coherent/detailed sound.The frames are VERY solid and feature beautiful 1" thick Black Walnut trim and cosmetically retains a very "stock" Magnepan look.
Next we have completely custom outboard crossovers with only the best parts(Obligato,Dynamicap,Duelund)These parts are miles above what these speakers come with stock.
I also still have and will include all the original frames/crossovers/socks in excellent condition.I even have the original packaging.See what you've been missing with those "box" speakers and get ready to hear accurate reproduction in sound.
