Fellow inmates,

I wonder if anyone could shed some light on these two amps, Parasound JC1 and Plinius SA 250 mk4. I am probably deciding between these two amps for a driving a pair of MG 3.5

I am a big fan of the Plinius sound. They will have more harmonic richness in the mids than the JC1's. They JC1's can be a bit lean depending on the system or they can work very well. I found Plinius to have a very sweet and neutral sound while maintaining good bass control. However, due to their very high gain they can be a bit noisy in some systems.
