The Tact 2.0S has been exceptionally reviewed as great performer on its own. Designed for two-channel stereo, its room correction, flexibility and operation in the digital domain are phenomenal.
This preamp has a highly modded DAC card for analog output. It also has the latest 2.0S motherboard with the following digital inputs: 2 RCA-coax, 1 BNC-coax, 1 XLR, and 1 optical. In addition, I added a fully modded analog-to-digital card a year ago for vinyl playback that also benefits from room correction. I was blown away by how good analog playback is with this unit!
Also included is a replacement AudioControl microphone, which is included at the asking price. (Cost ~$150) The new mic measures the room more accurately than the stock one and therefore provides even better correction.

The room correction is simply amazing. Plug in the mic, connect your PC via the supplied cable, run the supplied software and it will measure room frequency response and calculate appropriate response curves based on 9 different target curves - either supplied or drawn by you. If you have a room that you suspect is causing concerns, you will be blown away by what this preamp can do.

This is the fully black version and condition of the unit is excellent. I'd rate it 9/10 simply because it's 3 years old but appearance is still as new.
