Hi folks,  Maxcast if this belongs in Accessories please feel free to move it.  Offered for sale is, arguably, one of the finest step-up transformers ever made.  The Ortofon T-3000.  It is an all silver wired unit designed for carts in the 2-10 ohm loading range and has 30dB of gain.  I used it with a Lyra Lydian Beta with excellent sonic results.  However I could never quite completely solve my hum problem.  A HagTech Piccolo solved that.  $1000 OBO +shipping.

USA sales only.  Please feel free to PM your questions.

Thanks,
JakeJ

Hi NascimentoBrasil,

First welcome to AC.  I must clarify that in my system and with my equipment at the time I could not get it to be hum free and there was enough that it made low-level listening late at night impossible to achieve.  I have since had a dramatic change in gear and it might work now but I like my all-tube Valve Amplification Company CPA-1 MkII preamp that I won't use the T-3000 again.

Right now a friend is using it in his system and he reports no hum whatsoever.  Go figure!  :dunno:

Thanks for asking and looking.
