Has anybody seen this and have anything to say?  I may pick up the Imax version exclusive to Walmart this evening.  Heard that it is a stunner both visually and aurally

Best regards,

I have the non Imax version because I didn't know there was an Imax version shucks. But I may be wrong, there are only 2 scenes about a minute long that are shot in Imax?

The blu ray does an excellent job of putting you in the middle of the action. Explosions are deep, gunshots and rockets are clear. I have an older dlp tv but I did not notice motion artifacts that often, usually I do with fast action movies. Visually stunning! Again, the bass is deep!

I bought the Blu-Ray of Best Buy Tues. (they had an extra $2 off for the 1st 2 hours) and will likely watch it later.

great video and audio presentation. :thumb:

IMOH, I was very dissapointed with the inappropriate content, especially the parts with the robots having to curse, the small robot "doing" her leg, and the "balls". Totally tasteless....... :icon_frown: and it had absolutely no place in the movie. They took a great movie and made it just like any other run of the mill film.

I would have to completely agree with the above review.  Glad it did not cost me anything to rent through Blockbuster exchange program.

Cheers,

I agree too... I HATE it when they resort to this sophomoric crap in movies.

Sadly, a day after I posted the above, my family took a bus trip and guess what movie was shown during the ride....... I had to divert my 6 year olds attention when any of those scenes came on.

I know this thread is old but I was so glad to see that others beside myself were disappointed in some of the inappropriate content for younger viewers.  I was also disappointed that the main good guy transformer seemed to go through a bit of a personality change from the first movie.  He became a bit cocky and seemed to like his fighting more.

To address the main topic though the Blu-ray version is reference for the format.  Many of the new releases are very good though.

I just watched this movie on BluRay Disc and really enjoyed it.  Yes, some of the language added nothing to the movie but the action was non-stop.  I would rate it at 3.5 stars out of 5.  Not a must see but very entertaining.
