See that same as me. He was the charity and I was being "charitable"
I don't collect 45 RPM records but that changed yesterday at a thrift. I was looking at lp's on a rack and spotted a case on the floor underneath some Halloween decorations and started poking around inside and found about 100 - 45's inside. A lot these I owned as a kid in the 60's. Their in very good condition. I have a Dual stackable TT which I'll have to bring out soon. Paid $16 total. There is everything from Cream, Troggs, Stones, Beach Boys, Guess Who, Sam Cook, Stevie Wonder, Mavin Gaye, Supremes, Booker T and on. Amazingly enough no Beatles.A Flashback in a Box.
Great find CactusBob! Looks like loads of fun. Congrats, on your score.
Finally got an RL copy of Led Zep II !!!!!Under $20!!!!!Sound certainly deserving of the reputation this mastering has. Copy is mighty clean with any noise mostly between tracks. And this is before it has hit the VPI cleaner. I am a happy vinyl nut.
LP's and CD's from Sundazed
My trip to Jerry's Records
Great. You can STOP buying records now!Paul
That upper left white Hello People is one of my favorites.Pass Me By is so good it was reprised on (I think) Bricks, one that Rundgren produced. But I am NOT a fan of mimes and clowns in general...Paul
More goodies from last week . . .Some very cool & unusual 60's Psyche, old Blues & Jazz lp's that I found at a thrift. Most all of them are DJ Promo's with a few of those being 2 eye mono's. $1.50 each in very good condition! This is just part of 22 LP's found.Elmore James & Robert Johnson (promo with label torn off on face)
