For those of us who are new to the vinyl buying scene, where would be the best place to pick up a MoFi copy of DSOTM? Discogs? Ebay? Amazon? All of the above?
Harry Pearson really slammed its sound quality in the latest issue of The Absolute Sound. Does your copy have a lot of surface noise? A lot of reviews on Amazon complain about surface noise. I have an orginal EMI pressing, the MoFi and the 30th Anniversary. I think the MoFi sounds the best. I bought the new remastered vinyl of Wish You Were Here and it sounds terrific.Laura
Laura,My DSOTM new copy is very quiet. Jeff:I have the MoFi 1979, help me here, what is the UHQR? Ultra High Quality Recording? Is this the "newer" reawakened MoFi of the 2000's?Paul
