btw, I'm not entirely against a good trade, too.

Not sure what's needed...maybe a backup pair of speakers, a phono cartridge, a good universal player, maybe a good DAC....not sure what else - be creative

I didn't doubt it would eventually find a taker there (or that you were right about it)...I just didn't WANT to go there   

But, as it turned out it has a happier end than I could've imagined...the fella' that bought it lives in Huntington, LI.  That's where it was originally bought 21-22 years ago so the wee Superphon is going back 'home'

I don't know - it just seems to be fitting - a homecoming for the overachiever.  Here's one for the Gipper kinda' thing
