This Ortofon Kontrapunkt A Moving Coil cartridge was given the Soundsmith "Single Crystal" cantilever which holds a nude line contact diamond stylus. This work was completed in April of 2009 (receipt included in sale), and the cartridge has conservatively 20 hours on it since the re-tip. With the Soundsmith Ruby Cantilever and nude LC stylus, the cartridge is now much closer to a Kontrapunkt B, and it sounds exquisite. Liquid midrange and a smooth treble, with a commanding bottom end.
Unfortunately budget priorities are moving me to make this cartridge available. It will come with the original box and packaging, and manual. Pictures are available here:
