Denon 1610 5.1 Receiver ($275)

Hi all,

New (hardly used) Denon 1610. New in stores for $379. Used for two months  & ~15 hours for $275 + shipping using FedEx Ground insured. This is the 2010 entry-level Denon, with 3 HDMI ins, ability to decode all the new HD audio codecs, and a decent 75w/channel. Great for a bedroom/secondary HT setup.

This (9/10 on Audiogon) Denon 1610 receiver features:
* 75-watt power @ 0.08 % THD
* HDMI 1.3a (3 input, 1 output) provides one cable connection between the receiver and TV
* 1080p HDMI connectivity supports Blu-ray disc surround sound formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DD+, dts-HD and dts-HR
* Audyssey MultEQ, Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ
* Dolby Laboratories new Pro Logic IIz Matrix decoding featuring front height effects channels

This is perfectly packaged up, includes remote, setup mic, manual, transferable warranty (1.8 years left), etc. If you take a look at my other sales on TweakCityAudio and on AV123 - I have an impeccable record.

Reason for sale:

As mentioned, this unit is less than two months old, and has ~15 hours on total. I bought it for my girlfriend to power a pair of ELT525Ms, but she's asked for a "less complicated setup," so I have ended up buying her a set of active Audioengine 5s. I would keep this myself, but I've dismantled by own bedroom HT and am going dedicated two-channel.

Price drop of $25. This is a killer deal for a secondary/bedroom HT! Denon sound is nice and warm, and 75W are enough to power all but the least efficient speakers out there. Sub pre-out and pretty high quality DAC are nice features. Someone out there must be trying to convince a person to ditch a HTiB - this is a perfect solution for entry level HT buffs!
