I found the movie genuinely funny with an awesome cameo. Not really horror. Woody harrelson pwns the movie.

Very funny and Woody Harrelson is great.  It does have a great cameo, and I enjoyed the narrative thoughts of the Jesse Eisenberg character.

Haven't seen it yet, but yes ...... it looks like a lots of fun.
I might try to see it on Monday either tho the last few movies I have seen in movie theater were quite a waste of time and money. :(

How does it compare to the British zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead?

I thought Shaun of the Dead was a hoot the first time I saw it, but Zoombieland is better IMO as I just saw SOTD again.

Watched this movie last night. Woody Harrelson + Zombies + Shotguns = Big Fun. Bill Murray's cameo is some of the best work he has done in years.

Big zombie movie fan here and loved this one too... "completely mindless" is not how I would describe it at all. There are plenty of movies out there that can be called completely mindless but this is not one of them. Im not saying that Zombieland had some deep meaning or was thickly cerebral or anything but it had a plenty of aspects to think about.

Just watched it last weekend...  :thumb: We laughed, we cryed. Okay, we didn't cry, but we both liked it and that says a lot! I can't believe he shot...

Love the Bill Murray shot, at the end of those very long credits.
Woody just about breaks up, and Bill delivers the line, like he was just taking a break from Caddyshack.

Well, that was a better line, but here is the one from the Zombieland movie:

(  Re: Anyone else see Zombieland? )

Unfortunately, yes--in the theater. I am such a good friend.

This movie is exactly the opposite of the type of movies I enjoy.
